Encryption
Petcube's privacy policy says its services use SSL and that passwords are one-way encrypted. Current end-to-end video-encryption details remain undocumented in the reviewed record.
Account security
A current Petcube two-factor-authentication control was not found in the reviewed support and policy sources.
Where recordings go
Event history is stored through optional Petcube Care; no local recording route is documented for Cam 360.
Deletion controls
The device can be disconnected in the app and factory-reset by pressing its rear button seven times, which Petcube says removes Wi-Fi credentials and linked authentication tokens.
Security support
Petcube lists Cam 360 security updates through 31 December 2028, with possible extended support.
